Unkown Gunmen Attack Senatorial Candidate In Lagos (SEE PHOTOS)

Following controversies trailed by the forth-coming elections in February 2015, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the senatorial seat of Lagos West, Segun Adewale, took things personal on Saturday, when he reportedly attacked Hon. Solomon Adeola, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Both of them are vying for the same position in the upcoming elections.
At about 7:15pm on Saturday, January 31, the PDP candidate was said to have besieged the campaign office of his political opponent in Ikeja, with policemen and political thugs.
As soon as they arrived, the APC supporters which Adeola was having a meeting with, escaped for their lives.
Adewale, who was reportedly wearing a bullet proof jacket and armed with a pump action rifle, released “a volley of shots into the office” as he shoed for Adeola to come out and face him.
A source who witnessed the incident, said: “The gate was damaged as well as the rear windshield of Hon. Adeola Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep parked inside the office premises. Equally, bullet pellets damaged the exterior of the office room of Hon. Adeola’s office.”
Sources from Adewale’s camp however denied the allegations saying the story was fabricated and only meant to malign the PDP candidate.
