Genevieve Nnaji, Stella Damasus, Doris Simeon, others eulogize late Amaka Igwe



The Nigerian movie industry has been thrown into mourning with the death of prolific producer, writer, and director, Amaka Igwe who passed away last night.Top Nollywood acts, Don Pedro Obaseki, Stella Damasus, Fidelis Duker, Chika Chukwu and Doris Simeon were some of the thespians that took to their social media pages to eulogize the late
Amaka Igwe.
Genevieve Nnaji wrote “This is the darkest day of my entire career. That I believe sums up how I feel right now. Your legacy will leave on Aunty Amaka. I promise you. #RIPAmakaIgwe
Susan Peters also wrote “Another Icon gone too soon! RIP Amaka Igwe! Sad News!
Andrea Chika Chukwu, one of the young ladies that had worked with Amaka on the set of Fuji House of Commotion said, “I have no words to express how I feel right now Why!! Why!! Why!! All I hear is silence!!“
Actress Stephanie Okereke tweeted “I’m still in shock! Oh! How we’ve lost a great one! Rest in Peace Amaka Igwe.
Stella Damasus posted “RIP aunty Amaka. I just can’t understand this. Too painful to even begin to think about it. My prayer goes out to uncle charles and the children.
